MarQuip general manager Jeroen van der Matten and project engineer Wiebe Voorneveld will soon be heading south to the fifteenth edition of the Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience (YARE) in Italy. From 12 to 14 March they’ll be having productive B2C meetings with companies, shipyards, captains and yacht managers in the Versilia and Viareggio region. YARE has a unique format that attracts professionals from across the refit industry and also includes a Superyacht Captains’ Forum and various dinners that combine business with pleasure in the Italian way. Another upcoming event to report that is also taking place in Italy is the trade mission to Milan, Genoa, La Spezia and Livorno. This four-day tour runs from 8 to 11 April and will see the MarQuip representatives visit a wide range of companies active in the construction and refitting of superyachts. We will join leading Dutch suppliers in showcasing our innovation in exhaust systems to an Italian industry that now has a turnover of around nine billion euros.
