The strength and depth of the MarQuip crew has been further reinforced by the arrival of a new Junior Engineer. Colin Garcia Bakker will mainly focus on designing, calculating and optimising exhaust systems for superyachts. With this in mind, he joined the MarQuip team at the recent Monaco Yacht Show to meet clients and be fully immersed in the sector in which he will be working.
Colin’s previous career in the HVAC industry and as a technical supervisor for Heineken’s largest glass manufacturer gave him valuable experience in 2D and 3D design, AutoCAD Inventor calculations, material selections, and managing workloads and goods. “I am really looking forward to taking on fresh challenges at MarQuip together with my colleagues,” he says. “I also welcome the chance to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and to support clients as we develop smart solutions on their behalf.”
