Priceless experience of the superyacht industry
Since joining MarQuip as a project engineer in June 2021 I’ve been responsible for the calculations necessary to optimise exhaust systems. The 2D and 3D drafting of the systems according to the client specs and regulations are also part of my remit.
I previously worked as a mechanical engineer, including the development of new machines and elevators used for goods and people. A two-year spell at a renowned Dutch yacht builder in its special engineering department brought me into contact with all kinds of multidisciplinary challenges. Working with such highly experienced people to find solutions gave me priceless experience of the superyacht industry.
It also encouraged me to work for a company that specialises in superyacht exhaust systems. In addition to the expertise at MarQuip I’ve been impressed by the way this team of genuinely nice people has such passion for their work. There so many opportunities for me to keep developing here, now and for the future.
