The exhibition and boat show season is in full swing, with our home match coming up in the form of the renowned METSTRADE event this November in Amsterdam. Over the past two months MarQuip’s Jeroen van der Matten and John Maaskant have enjoyed successful shows in Germany and on the French riviera.
SMM trade fair in Hamburg at the start of September attracted more than 40,000 visitors and we spent four very productive days meeting clients and signing up new ones along with our partner Discom. The end of the month saw Jeroen and John head south to the Monaco Yacht Show where they introduced MarQuip’s new junior engineer Colin Garcia Bakker to the superyacht community. Lots of good business was conducted amongst the glitz and glamour, confirming our company’s reputation among captains and chief engineers looking to optimise their exhaust systems as well as owners commissioning new builds.
Jeroen’s travels did not end there as he recently showcased MarQuip’s smart system solutions to the shipbuilding world during Europort Istanbul at the stand of our partner Nemo Marin. Prior to the exhibition Jeroen took part in an exclusive trade mission by members of the Netherlands Maritime Technology association. This included visits to the top Turkish superyacht yards where a number of valuable new business contacts were established.
METSTRADE,a three-day B2B event like no other that will bring the global leisure marine sector together in the Dutch capital. The RAI Amsterdam convention centre will host thousands of exhibitors and many more visitors keen to see the latest marine equipment, materials and systems. We look forward to welcoming you at the MarQuip stand (number 10.304) from Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 November. Like to make an appointment in advance? Please email us here.
